Child Benefit is a tax-free child allowance. It is granted to children up to the age of 16 or 20 if the child is a full-time student. It is granted for each child individually.

 

Currently, the oldest child or the only child has a benefit rate of £ 20.70. The benefit rate is £ 13.70 for each subsequent child.
